Starting at St Mary’s Church, Bergen’s best-preserved medieval church, this guided walk follows the traces of pilgrims, monks and townspeople through the medieval city.
Along the way, we visit the sites of lost churches, monasteries and shrines, the former cathedral, the St Sunniva Monument and St. Jørgen’s Church, part of the historic hospital that cared for people with leprosy for over 600 years.

Guests are warmly invited to join a short pilgrim service in St Mary’s Church at 12:00 PM before the tour begins. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes and offers a unique opportunity to experience a living pilgrimage tradition in one of Bergen’s most important medieval churches.

Cancellation policy:
Visits within regular opening hours: If cancelled later than 48 hours in advance customer pays 25 % of the entrance fee. Latest change of pax 24 hours in advance.
Visits outside regular opening hours: If cancelled with 14 day’s notice, free of charge, otherwise no refund of additional fees. If cancelled later than 48 hours customer pays 25 % of entrance fee.
