Bryggens Museum
The garbage of the Middle Ages is the gold of today! The exhibition Below Ground gives you stories about the everyday life in the Middle Ages in Bergen and in Western Norway.

Old Bergen Museum is large and offers a variety of experiences. A walk through the park provides peace and tranquility and is freely accessible. Sandviken Sjøbad is located right next to the museum, where you can take a dip at the Elsesro bathing area! Please note that grilling and the use of open flames are prohibited on the museum grounds.

Cancellation policy:
Visits within regular opening hours: If cancelled later than 48 hours in advance customer pays 25 % of the entrance fee. Latest change of pax 24 hours in advance.
Visits outside regular opening hours: If cancelled with 14 day’s notice, free of charge, otherwise no refund of additional fees. If cancelled later than 48 hours customer pays 25 % of entrance fee.
